B2B-Direct credit accounts
A B2B-Direct credit account is the credit line one merchant extends to one tenant: the tenant buys against it, pays the merchant outside the platform, and the merchant records that payment to free the credit again.
Overview#
Some tenants and merchants trade on credit between themselves instead of through the tenant's wallet. The merchant grants the tenant a credit line, the tenant's orders consume it, the tenant pays the merchant by bank transfer outside the platform, and the merchant records that payment to restore the available credit. Each merchant and tenant pair has its own account, kept apart from the tenant's wallet and from the platform credit line on that wallet, which is a different thing. Whether an order settles on this account or on the wallet is decided by the pair's settlement route; see Wallet and B2B-Direct settlement between a tenant and a merchant. Every order of a B2B-Direct pair is checked against the account, and an order that would exceed the available credit is blocked.
The accounts are listed under B2B Credit Accounts in the Finance section of the sidebar, for every role allowed to view them.
Fields#
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Merchant | The merchant that extends the credit. |
| Tenant | The tenant that buys on credit. |
| Currency | The account's currency, VND by default. A merchant and tenant pair has at most one active account per currency. |
| Credit Limit | The most the tenant may owe plus have on hold. It can be set to zero but never below. |
| Outstanding | What the tenant owes the merchant now. |
| On Hold | Credit reserved for an order that has not settled yet. Orders and voucher redemptions draw on the credit at the moment they settle, without reserving it first, so this stays at zero in normal use. |
| Available Credit | Credit Limit − Outstanding − On Hold. |
| Status | Active, Suspended or Closed (see Statuses). |
| Contract Number, Signed Date, Expired Date, Note | The merchant's reference for the credit contract, shown under Contract Details. They are for reference only: the line is not blocked or ended when the expiry date passes. |
The account list shows Merchant, Tenant, Currency, Credit Limit, Outstanding and status. The Merchant column and filter appear only when the rows can span several merchants, that is, for tenant users and platform operators. The Excel export always names both the merchant and the tenant. The list filters by status, currency, merchant name, tenant name and contract number, with advanced filters for credit-limit and outstanding ranges, contract signed and expiry dates, and creation date.
Statuses#
| Status | Meaning | Orders on the pair |
|---|---|---|
| Active | The line can be drawn on. | Settle while there is enough available credit. |
| Suspended | The platform operator has paused the line. | Blocked. |
| Closed | The line has ended. | Blocked. |
Only a platform operator suspends or closes an account, and the account page offers Reactivate to the operator only. Recording a payment and adjusting the limit stay available on a suspended or closed account, so a tenant's late payment can still be recorded. A pair that settles on B2B-Direct but has no active account is treated as having no credit, so its orders block too.
Ledger#
Ledger entries are never edited or deleted; a correction is a new, compensating entry.
| Type | Sign | Written when |
|---|---|---|
| Consumption | + | An order of the pair settles on credit. One entry per financial transaction, so a replayed settlement never charges twice. A voucher redemption at the merchant's store draws on the line the same way. |
| Payment Received | − | The merchant records a payment smaller than the outstanding balance. |
| Reset | − | The merchant records a payment equal to the outstanding balance, which brings it to zero. |
| Correction | − | A consumption is given back, for example when its order is cancelled. A correction can never give back more than the consumption it reverses. |
A recorded payment can never be larger than the outstanding balance, and submitting the same payment form twice records it once. Limit changes and status changes do not write ledger entries; they are kept in the account's audit history.
The account detail page shows the latest 100 entries under Ledger History. View Statement opens a statement for a date range, the last 30 days by default; an end date in the future is treated as today: Opening Balance, Consumption, Payments, Corrections and Closing Balance, then the entries of the period, up to the first 500. The statement is a web page only; it has no export.
Rules#
- A limit change takes effect on the next order; there is no delay.
- A grant is one-time per pair and currency: a second grant while the account is active is refused, and the merchant uses Adjust Limit instead.
- Granting credit also switches the pair's settlement route to B2B-Direct, in the same step.
- An order that exceeds the available credit, or whose account is not active, is refused with no supervisor override. A refuel order is set to Blocked; a work or purchase order cannot complete; a voucher redemption is refused. See Payment block and refusal reasons.
- Merchants never delete an account.
Notifications#
| Notification | When | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|
| B2B credit alert | Use of the line (outstanding plus on hold, against the limit) crosses 80%, by an order or by a limit cut. It fires once per crossing, and only for an active account. | Merchant and tenant owners and admins, and Tenant Supervisors |
| B2B credit blocked order | An order is refused for lack of credit. | Tenant owners, admins and supervisors |
| B2B credit line changed | The limit is reduced, or the account is suspended or closed. A limit increase sends nothing. | Tenant owners, admins and supervisors |
| B2B-Direct routing activated | A merchant grants a credit line. | Platform operators |
