Check and repay your platform credit
See how much platform credit you have, how much you owe and by when, and what happens when you repay.
Before you start#
- You are a Tenant Owner, Tenant Admin or Tenant Accountant.
- The platform has granted your wallet a credit line. What a credit line is, and its statuses, is on Platform credit lines.
Steps#
- In the sidebar's Finance section, open Credit Summary.
- Read the line's figures:
- Total Allocated — your limit;
- Credit Used — what you have drawn;
- Outstanding — what you owe;
- Credit Available — what you can still draw. It reads zero once the line is past its deadline, closed to new spending, or carried over from a previous wallet;
- Utilization — what you owe as a share of the limit;
- Repayment Deadline — the date by which to repay.
- Under Recent Credit Activity, read the last 10 entries: Date, Type (drawdown or repayment), Amount, Balance after the entry, and Reference.
- To see what an entry paid for, click its Reference: it opens the transaction or payment behind it. A reference you may not open shows as plain text, and an entry with nothing behind it shows a dash.
- To repay, pay the platform as agreed with your platform operator, using the VAN for Repayment when the page shows one. The operator records your repayment against the line; only the operator can.
What happens next#
- Partial repayment: Outstanding falls by the amount and a Repayment entry appears under Recent Credit Activity. On a line that is active and within its deadline, Credit Available rises by the same amount.
- Full repayment: the line closes and the page then reads "No active credit allocation for this tenant."; to draw credit again, the platform grants a new line.
- Your owners, admins and supervisors are alerted when use of the line reaches 80%, 7 days before the deadline, the day after it, and when the line is both fully drawn and past its deadline; see Platform credit lines.
Rules and limits#
- From the day after the Repayment Deadline, the line lends nothing more, even with credit left; orders that need credit are refused. The deadline day itself still counts as on time.
- A partial repayment does not lift that block. It ends when the operator extends the deadline of a line that is still active, or when you repay in full and are granted a new line.
- Cash in your wallet can still be spent while the line is blocked.
- A line closed to new spending while you still owe money stays on the page with a note that the balance "is still owed and remains repayable".
- A line carried over from a previous wallet says so: it can no longer be used for new spending, but it is still owed.
- A repayment larger than what you owe is refused, and the same repayment is never recorded twice.
If something goes wrong#
| What you see | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "No active credit allocation for this tenant." | Your wallet has no credit line, or it has been fully repaid. | Ask your platform operator for a line. |
| Credit Available reads zero although the limit is not used up | The line is past its deadline, closed, or carried over from a previous wallet. | Repay and ask the operator about extending the deadline or a new line. |
| Outstanding has not fallen after you paid | The repayment has not been recorded yet. | Send the operator the payment details. |
| No Credit Summary in the sidebar | Your role cannot view wallets. | Ask a Tenant Owner or Admin. |
