Check your B2B-Direct credit with a merchant
See how much credit each merchant has granted you, how much you owe, and every charge and payment on the line.
Before you start#
- You are a Tenant Owner, Tenant Admin, Tenant Supervisor or Tenant Accountant.
- A merchant has granted your organisation a B2B-Direct credit line. If none has, the list is empty.
- This view is read-only for you: the merchant, or the platform operator, changes the limit and records your payments.
Steps#
- In the sidebar's Finance section, open B2B Credit Accounts. The list shows one row per merchant line, with Merchant, Credit Limit, Outstanding and status.
- To narrow the list, open the filter panel (the funnel button): status, currency, merchant, tenant and contract number, and under Advanced filters the limit, outstanding, contract date and creation date ranges. Click Apply.
- Click View on a row. The account page shows Credit Limit, Outstanding, On Hold and Available Credit, the Contract Details, and the Ledger History of the latest 100 entries.
- For a period, click View Statement. Set Start and End and click Apply; it defaults to the last 30 days.
- Read the statement: Opening Balance, Consumption (your orders on credit), Payments (payments recorded and full resets), Corrections (credit given back, for example for a cancelled order) and Closing Balance, then each entry of the period.
To export the list of accounts, click Export to Excel. The statement itself has no export.
What happens next#
You are notified when something changes on a line:
| Notification | When |
|---|---|
| B2B credit alert | Use of the line, including amounts on hold, crosses 80% — after an order or a limit cut |
| B2B credit blocked order | An order was refused for lack of credit |
| B2B credit line changed | The merchant lowered the limit, or the platform suspended or closed the line |
Owners, admins and supervisors receive these; accountants do not.
Rules and limits#
- Available Credit is the limit minus what you owe minus what is on hold.
- An order larger than your available credit with that merchant is refused, and so is every order while the line is suspended or closed; no supervisor can approve past it. See Payment block and refusal reasons.
- You pay the merchant outside the platform, typically by bank transfer. Your outstanding amount falls when the payment is recorded, or when an order charged to the line is cancelled.
- You see only lines granted to your organisation.
- A statement shows at most 500 entries; narrow the dates to see more.
If something goes wrong#
| What you see | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No B2B Credit Accounts in the sidebar | Your user has no tenant role; every tenant role can see B2B credit. | Ask your administrator to give you a tenant role. |
| The list is empty | No merchant has granted you a line. | Ask the merchant to grant credit. |
| Outstanding has not dropped after you paid | The merchant has not recorded your payment yet. | Ask the merchant to record it. |
| "Showing the first 500 entries for this period. Narrow the date range to see the rest." | The period has more entries. | Narrow the date range. |
