Set up your receiving account

How-to guide Who can do this: Merchant Owner, Merchant Admin

Record the bank account your merchant is paid into. Until your merchant has a receiving account, tenants cannot see or order from your stores.

Before you start#

  • You are a Merchant Owner or Merchant Admin.
  • Have the account's bank, number and holder's name.
  • If your wallet is connected to an active Goopay account, that account already counts as your receiving account, and the bank account is the fallback. The Goopay connection is set up by the platform operator, not here. The full rules are on Merchant receiving accounts and banks.

Steps#

During onboarding#

  1. On your dashboard, in Getting Started, click Go next to Configure receiving account.
  2. On Configure Receiving Account, fill in Account details (Method, Account number, Account name) and, under Bank details, the Bank; Bank country is your merchant's country and cannot be changed.
  3. Click Save. You return to the dashboard with "Receiving account configured. Your organization is now active and visible to tenants."

Once the step is done it leaves the checklist; make later changes from Finance.

From Finance#

  1. In the sidebar's Finance section, open Receiving Account.
  2. Click Add Receiving Account, or Edit on an existing row.
  3. Fill in the fields:
    • Method — choose Bank Transfer. The other options are Wallet and B2B Direct; only Bank Transfer and B2B Direct accounts are matched against bank QR codes drivers scan;
    • Bank — choose your bank (Select a bank); entries read as name and code, for example "Ngoại thương Việt Nam (VCB)", and only banks of your merchant's country are offered;
    • Account number and Account name — exactly as your bank shows them.
  4. Click Save. You return to the list with "Disbursement method created successfully." or "Disbursement method updated successfully."

Delete an account#

  1. On the list, click Delete on the row, then Yes, delete. You return to the list with "Disbursement method deleted successfully."

What happens next#

  • With a valid receiving account, your merchant is marked as payable and tenants can see your stores for purchase orders.
  • If you have a Goopay account, the list says "Payouts go to your Goopay account", names it, and adds "Bank accounts below are a fallback."
  • The bank account is used to check bank QR codes drivers scan to pay you: the account number, and the bank if the QR names one, must match; see Merchant receiving accounts and banks.

Rules and limits#

  • All four fields are required; the form will not submit with one empty.
  • The list shows only the last four digits of each account number.
  • A bank removed from the list stays selected on accounts that already use it.
  • Deleting your last valid bank account hides your stores from tenants again, unless you have an active Goopay account. The delete page warns about this in every case.
  • You see and change only your own merchant's accounts.
