Store operating hours and open status
Each store has one opening window per day of the week, or is closed that day. From those hours the platform shows whether the store is open now, closing soon, closed, or has no hours set.
Overview#
Operating hours are set on the store create and edit form, in the Operating hours section. The open status is worked out from those hours each time a page opens, in Vietnam time. The same status appears on the store detail page, the Stores list, the store map and the Driver App. A store with no hours at all is hidden from tenants and their drivers; see Which stores tenants and drivers can see.
Weekly hours#

Editing hours on the store form#
- Each day has a switch that reads Open or Closed, a 24h switch, and the open and close times.
- 24h fills the day with 00:00 to 23:59 and locks the times. 24h and Closed cannot both be on: turning one on turns the other off. Turning 24h off sets the day back to 06:00 to 18:00.
- Open 24/7, at the top of the section, switches every day to 24h at once; turning it off sets every day back to 06:00 to 18:00.
- A store with no hours yet starts with 06:00 to 18:00 on every day, on both the create and edit forms. Saving without changes keeps those hours. So saving the edit form of a store that had no hours, for any reason, gives it 06:00 to 18:00 every day, and the store can then become visible to tenants.
- A store that already has hours shows its own hours, and a day saved as 00:00 to 23:59 shows its 24h switch on.
Only users who can edit the store change its hours: Merchant Owner and Merchant Admin, for their own stores.
Open status#

The next opening time is today's open time when the store has not opened yet today; otherwise the first open day in the coming week. The store detail page also shows the hours for the whole week, with Closed or Open 24h where they apply.
Hours line on the map#
The store map popup and the Driver App pin sheet show one line under the status:

The status and the hours line come from the same reading, so the two never disagree. The rest of the popup is described on Store locations map.
Edge cases#
- Hours that end before they start (for example 21:00 to 07:00) cannot be entered on the form. If such hours reach a store another way, that day shows as closed.
- Hours in an unreadable form show as not configured.
- One schedule for every day, set outside the form, applies to all seven days. The form shows it on every day, and saving the form turns it into day-by-day hours.
- Several windows in one day, set outside the form, show that day as closed.
