Add prices for many stores at once

How-to guide Who can do this: Merchant Owner, Merchant Admin

Set new prices for many stores and all your SKUs in one go, for example after a government price change. Prices can start from the official price for one price zone, then be reviewed before anything is saved.

Before you start#

  • Who: Merchant Owner or Merchant Admin, for the merchant's own stores. Tenant users cannot open the page.
  • Where: Price Lists → Add price lists. On the detail page of an active store that has no prices yet, Add prices -> opens the page with that store already ticked.
  • You need: at least one active SKU. Without one the page says "Add a SKU before setting prices" with an Add SKU link. To start from the official price, your stores should have a price zone; see Fuel price zones.
  • One zone per batch. Zone 1 and Zone 2 official prices differ, so price one zone's stores at a time; the page offers the other zone afterwards.

Steps#

  1. Under Stores (Where do these prices apply?), tick the stores to price; only active stores are listed. Search stores… matches names and addresses with or without Vietnamese accents. Narrow the list with the province filter (All provinces) and the zone filter (All zones), and use Select all N shown to tick every store listed. Filtering changes only which stores are shown, never which are ticked; the × on the selected count unticks them all. On a phone, tap Choose stores (N selected) to open the store list and Done to close it.
  2. Under Prices, choose Start from: Government price or My own prices.
  3. With Government price, check the Zone. When every ticked store has the same zone it is chosen for you, with where it came from ("from address", "confirmed" or "from the stores' recorded zone"); otherwise choose Zone 1 or Zone 2 yourself.
  4. Check the price grid. Each active SKU has a row, with services below when you have any. Recommended shows the official price for the zone, with its date and source; Now at selected stores shows what the ticked stores charge today.
  5. Enter Your price in whole đồng. To set every government-linked row at once, use Quick adjust: set every government-linked row to government, a plus or minus amount in ₫ or %, then Apply. It asks before overwriting prices you typed ("Overwrite N prices you typed?").
  6. Check the tick box at the start of each row and its VAT toggle (incl. or excl.). A row ticks itself when it has a price, and the tick box in the header ticks or unticks every row; only ticked rows are created. Starting from the government price, fuel rows default to incl.; every other row defaults to excl.. What the toggle means is on VAT rates and VAT-inclusive prices.
  7. Under When, check effective from, leave effective to empty for "until replaced", and add an optional Note for every row.
  8. The bar at the bottom shows "N SKUs × N stores = N prices". Click Review prices.
  9. In the review, read the per-SKU table and tick each warning shown. If stores in the other zone were dropped and you want them priced too, tick Price them anyway; the review updates ("Review updated: check the stores now included.") and you check it again. Then click Create N prices. Back to edit returns to the page with nothing saved.

What happens next#

  • All the prices are created together, or none are. The page shows "N prices created for N SKUs at N stores." and returns to Price Lists.
  • Each priced store counts as having confirmed prices, and which products each store can sell is updated once for the whole batch.
  • Each new price row is recorded in the audit log.
  • When you started from the government price and you also have stores in the other zone, a card asks "Price your Zone N stores next?". Continue with Zone N reopens the page for that zone with the same SKUs and quick adjust; Done dismisses it.
  • Earlier prices are not closed; the price with the latest start applies. See Price lists.

Rules and limits#

ZeroA price of 0 is refused: "Enter a price above 0"
Above recommendedAllowed, after you acknowledge it in the review
More than 10% off recommendedShown as a likely typo ("Check for a missing zero." below, "Check for an extra zero." above), allowed after you acknowledge it

Stores in the other zoneGovernment-price batches only: dropped unless you tick Price them anyway
