Set up your catalog from trade profiles

How-to guide Who can do this: Merchant Owner, Merchant Admin

Tell the platform what kind of business you run, such as fuel distribution or car wash, and it adds a ready-made set of SKUs and services to your catalog, which you then price per store.

Before you start#

  • Who: a Merchant Owner or Merchant Admin, the roles that can add SKUs and services. Tenant users never see this step.
  • Where: the trade profile page opens straight after you register your merchant. Later, reach it from Set up your trade profile on the merchant onboarding checklist, or Set Up Trade Profile on a store's price review when you have no fuel SKUs, or none that match an official price.
  • Trade, SKU and service names are shown in Vietnamese.
  • The step is optional; you can add SKUs and services by hand instead. See Add, edit or deactivate a SKU or service.

Steps#

  1. On Set Up Your Trade Profile, tick the trades that match your business, for example "Phân phối nhiên liệu" (fuel distribution) or "Rửa xe & chăm sóc xe" (car wash and detailing). Each trade shows how many SKU templates and service templates it holds.
  2. Click Preview Catalog, or Skip for now to leave it.
  3. On Review Your Catalog, check the proposed SKUs (with their unit of measure and type) and, separately, the services. Untick anything you do not sell: only ticked items are added.
  4. Click Quick Confirm to add them, or Change Selection to go back to the trades.

What happens next#

  • The ticked SKUs and services are added to your catalog and you return to the dashboard.
  • Most fuel templates are linked to their official fuel item and use its code and name, so those fuel SKUs match the official list.
  • Each SKU and service added is recorded in its audit log as created by you.
  • The checklist step Set up your trade profile shows as done once trades are chosen.
  • No prices are set yet. Confirm prices for each store next; see Review and confirm a store's fuel prices.

Rules and limits#

RuleDetail
Same codeAn item whose code you already have is skipped: "Existing entries with the same code will be skipped."
Coming backThe trade page shows the trades you chose last time. Confirming again replaces that choice; unticking a trade does not remove the items it added
Your catalog onlyThe items belong to your merchant; another merchant choosing the same trades gets its own copies
After setupEdit or switch off the added items like any other; see SKUs and services
