Review a vehicle's route and telemetry for a day

How-to guide Who can do this: Tenant Owner, Tenant Admin, Tenant Supervisor

See where a vehicle drove on a given day, from start to end, and how its temperature and fuel level changed, for example to check a delivery route or a refrigerated load.

Before you start#

  • You need to be a Tenant Owner, Tenant Admin or Tenant Supervisor.
  • Your company's plan must include GPS replay.
  • The vehicle needs GPS data from a provider that sends route points; see GPS providers.

Steps#

  1. In the menu, under Fleet, open GPS Logs. Each row is one vehicle on one day; use the search box to find the vehicle by plate.
  2. Click the vehicle (plate and model) on the row for the day you want. The Vehicle Playback page opens for that vehicle and date.
  3. The header shows the plate, the date and, when known, the Provider that reported that day. A details card below the Date picker shows License Plate, Vehicle Model and Driver(s); the drivers are the vehicle's current drivers, not necessarily who drove that day.
  4. Follow the route on the map: a line joins the day's GPS points, from a green Start marker to a red End marker. Click a marker for its time.
  5. Below the map, read the Temperature chart (with Temperature 2 when the day has second-sensor readings) and the Fuel Level chart over the day.
  6. To look at another day, pick it in Date; the page reloads. Days that have GPS data are highlighted in the calendar, but you can still pick any day.

What happens next#

Nothing changes: the page only shows stored data and never contacts the GPS provider. The figures for the day (distance, top speed, temperature and fuel range) are on the GPS Logs row; see GPS logs and daily summaries.

Rules and limits#

  • The day is a calendar day in Vietnam time.
  • Opening Vehicle Playback without a date shows today.
  • The provider shown is the one that sent the day's last point.
  • On a day with GPS points, each chart shows a "No … data recorded for this day" message instead when the day has no readings of that kind. A day with no GPS points shows neither the map nor the charts.
  • Temperature and fuel exist only for providers and trackers that send them, and only from when they started.
  • You can open only your own company's vehicles.
