Mini charts on the dashboard
Three dashboard cards carry a small chart of the trend behind their number: Total Spend, Wallet Balance and Official fuel prices. Each chart draws its report's own figures.
Overview#
A mini chart is a small version of a report's chart inside a dashboard card. It has no axes, gridlines or legend; pointing at a bar or a point shows its value in full dong. The Total Spend and Wallet Balance charts read the same figures as their reports over the reports' default window. The Official fuel prices chart draws the same series the report shows when opened from the card's link. A chart appears only when its card does, and a card with nothing to draw shows its number without a chart. For the dashboard as a whole and when each card appears, see Dashboards.
The three charts#
| Card | Dashboard | Chart | Window | Opens |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Total Spend | Tenant | Bars of spend per day | This month, from the 1st to today (Vietnam time) | Spend Summary |
| Wallet Balance | Tenant | Line of the cash balance at the close of each day | This month, from the 1st to today (Vietnam time) | Balance & Runway |
| Official fuel prices | Tenant and merchant | Stepped lines, one per fuel, with a legend of current prices | The last 90 days, Zone 1 | Official fuel price chart |
The Credit Used card has no chart.
Total Spend#
- The bars are the Spend Summary report's spend per day for the current month, up to today; no future day is drawn.
- When there is no spend this month, or every day is zero, no chart is drawn and the card shows its total only.
- The card appears for users who can see financial transactions and are not merchant-only users.
- View spend summary opens the report; see Finance reports.
Wallet Balance#
- The line is the cash balance at the close of each day this month, the same values as the measured line of the Balance & Runway report. It has no forecast and no markers; the runway sentence stays under the card's number.
- When the organisation has no wallet history yet, no line is drawn.
- The card appears for users who can see wallets and are not merchant-only users.
- View balance & runway opens the report; see Balance and runway.
Official fuel prices#
- The card draws up to four fuels — RON 95-III, E5 RON 92-II, E10 RON 95-III and Diesel 0.05S-II — for price Zone 1 over the last 90 days in Vietnam time. Under its title the card shows the zone and window, for example "Zone 1 · last 90 days".
- Fuels are drawn and listed in catalogue order, under the names the fuel catalogue gives them; colours and dash patterns follow that order.
- A fuel that is not in the catalogue, is inactive, is not marked for official price publishing, or has no price at all in the 90 days is left out of the chart and the legend. With nothing to draw, the card does not appear.
- Lines are stepped, because a price holds until the next adjustment. A fuel first priced inside the window starts with a gap, never a back-filled value.
- Each line has its own colour and its own dash pattern, and the legend draws the same pattern next to each fuel's name, so the lines can be told apart without colour.
- The legend shows each fuel's current price: the price in force now, which can differ from the chart's last point when a price changes later today.
- Every tenant and merchant user sees the card whenever there is something to draw; it needs no finance permission.
- View official fuel prices opens the report on the same fuels, zone and 90 days, so the report shows the same chart in full; see Official fuel price chart.
Accessibility#
Every mini chart comes with a short text summary and a table of its values for screen readers, for example the highest spend day or the balance at the start and end of the month. The card's report link is the visible way to the full table.
