Portal layout and menu
Every signed-in screen has the same frame: a menu on the side, tools in the header, and a trail that says where you are. The menu shows only the pages you can open.
Overview#
The menu is one list for every role. A row appears when you hold the permission for that page, and, for some pages, when that capability is on your plan. A company user and a merchant user can share a label and still land on different pages. Finding a page from this menu is on Find a page or an action.
At most one menu row is highlighted: the page you are on, or the row that owns it. A page no row owns, such as your profile, highlights nothing. The dashboard row matches only the dashboard itself, so it does not stay lit on every other page.
Header#
From the search glass to the avatar, the header holds:
- Search pages, the magnifying glass. It finds menu pages by the name on the screen, and also by the English name when the portal is in Vietnamese. It also lists the create actions you are allowed to start.
- The organisation you are signed in as. A company is shown ahead of a merchant when you belong to both. The name is a link only when you can view that organisation; otherwise it is plain text. On a narrow screen the chip is hidden and the same name sits in the profile menu.
- The notification bell. Reading it is on Read and clear your notifications.
- Language and the display theme. Changing them is on Change the portal language and display theme.
- Your avatar. The menu is Profile, Change Password, Support and Logout.
What the menu contains#
Dashboard is always in the menu. What it shows is on Dashboards.
Operations appears when you can view work orders or refuel orders. Refuel Orders and Refuel Unblock Queue need the refuel capability. Work Orders needs the work capability for a company user. A merchant who is not also a company user sees Work Orders without that plan check. Purchase Orders is two pages with one label: a merchant who is not also a company user gets the merchant page; a company user gets the company page, and only when purchase orders are on the plan.
Reports collects the reports you can open. Vehicle Performance also needs fleet reports on the plan. Company users who can view transactions see Spend Summary, Refuel by Vehicle, Refuel by Fuel Item, Spend by Vehicle and Spend by Merchant. Merchant users who are not also a company user, and who can view transactions, see Revenue by Tenant and Sales by SKU. Official Fuel Prices is there for every company or merchant user, with no extra permission. Balance & Runway, Wallet Statement and Credit Exposure each follow their own permission. The figures on those pages belong to the reports and wallets domains.
Merchants holds Merchants (your own merchant, unless you are a platform operator looking across merchants), Departments, Stores, Stores Map and Devices. Services, SKUs and Price Lists are hidden from a company-only user: someone on a company, with no merchant, and without platform access.
Finance holds Wallets, B2B Credit Accounts, Receiving Account, Transactions, B2B-Direct Amounts Owed, Money Movements, Ledger Entries, Proforma Invoices, VAT Invoices and Unmatched Invoices, each behind its own permission. Credit Summary is only for a user who belongs to a company.
E-Vouchers holds Issuance limits, Campaigns, Unused vouchers and Redemptions. Campaigns and unused vouchers also need that capability on the plan.
Fleet holds Vehicles, Drivers, Cards, Documents (not for a merchant-only user, and only when documents are on the plan), GPS Logs, Fleet Map, Odometer Review, Fleet Maintenance and Vehicle Types. GPS and maintenance rows also need those capabilities on the plan.
Review Queue appears only when you can review document captures. It holds Documents, OCR Corrections and Pump Discrepancies.
Tenants holds your company (Tenants), or Customers when you can see billing for companies but cannot open the company list. It also holds Departments, GPS Provider (when live GPS is on the plan), Users, Working Shifts, Holidays and Public Holidays.
Data Exchange holds Import Data, Import History and Mapping Profiles when you can add vehicles, drivers, stores or users.
System holds Notifications and Download Apps for everyone.
Some administration pages are not in a company or merchant menu. They appear only for a platform operator.
Breadcrumbs#
Under the header, a trail names the pages above the one you are on. Earlier steps are links when they have a destination. The current page is plain text.
