Subscription plans and features
Every tenant and merchant subscribes to a plan. The plan decides which paid modules the organisation's users can open; their role decides what each user may do inside them. This page lists the plans, the nine plan features and the modules each one unlocks.
Overview#
Access to a paid module needs two things: the user's role must hold the permission, and the organisation's plan must include the module's feature. The two are checked separately; a feature is never granted through a role. A module that is not tied to a plan feature is controlled by role permissions alone. The features come from a fixed list of nine; platform operators choose which of them each plan includes, but cannot add new ones. Pricing is a separate matter, covered in Subscription pricing and billing cycles.
Plans#
| Plan type | For | Features included by default |
|---|---|---|
| Professional | Fleet companies (tenants) | Refuel, Purchase, Work, Documents, Live GPS, GPS replay, Fleet reports, Maintenance |
| Enterprise | Fleet companies (tenants) | All of Professional, plus E-voucher |
| Professional | Merchants | Refuel |
| Enterprise | Merchants | Refuel |
- No Free plan is offered to new organisations. A tenant or merchant that registers itself is given the Professional plan for its type automatically. An organisation already on a Free plan stays on it until an operator moves it.
- An organisation set up any other way, for example by the platform team, has no subscription, and so none of the nine features, until one is activated.
- Plans do not cap how many vehicles, drivers, stores, users or devices an organisation may create.
- Each plan also carries monthly AI-assistant and SMS allowances; see AI assistant and SMS monthly quotas.
- An operator can change which features a plan includes; the change applies to every organisation on that plan, because access always reads the plan as it is now.
Features and the modules they unlock#
| Feature | For | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Refuel | Tenants and merchants | Refuel Orders and Refuel Unblock Queue in the portal; creating refuel orders and refuel QR codes in the driver app; scanning, card-swipe refuelling and confirming refuel orders at the merchant's store |
| Purchase | Tenants | The tenant's Purchase Orders in the portal (create, list and manage), and purchase orders in the driver app |
| Work | Tenants | The tenant's Work Orders in the portal, and work orders in the driver app |
| Documents | Tenants | Documents in the portal, and the driver's documents in the app |
| Live GPS | Tenants | Fleet Map and GPS Provider configuration |
| GPS replay | Tenants | GPS Logs and trip playback |
| Fleet reports | Tenants | Vehicle Performance, including its export, overrides and recalculation |
| Maintenance | Tenants | Fleet Maintenance, Vehicle Types, marking maintenance done, and driver maintenance in the app |
| E-voucher | Tenants | E-voucher Campaigns and the Unused vouchers report |
Live GPS and GPS replay are separate features: a plan with Live GPS alone shows the Fleet Map but not GPS Logs or playback.
Rules#
- Hidden and refused together. When the plan lacks a module's feature, its menu entry is hidden and opening the page directly (for example from a bookmark) is refused with an access-denied page. The menu is built from the same check as the page, so the two always agree.
- Mobile apps. The driver and merchant apps do not read the plan themselves; the server refuses a request for a module the plan does not include.
- Active subscription only. Features come from the plan of the organisation's Active subscription. An organisation with no Active subscription has none of the nine features.
- Merchants receiving orders. Purchase and Work are bought by the tenant that places the orders. A merchant user is never asked for them: purchase and work orders sent to the merchant stay open to it whatever its plan.
- Platform staff are not limited by plan features; their role permissions still apply.
- Not plan features (role permissions only): vehicles, drivers and cards, wallets, OCR review, data import, voucher issuance limits and redemptions, and every report except Vehicle Performance. The AI assistant is on every plan, within the plan's monthly AI allowance (AI assistant and SMS monthly quotas).
Edge cases#
- The access-denied page does not say whether the role or the plan was missing; both produce the same page.
- A user whose role lacks the permission does not see the module even when the plan includes the feature.
